Buying domain names

I’m amazed at how many domains out there are squatted. I was looking to get meanderings.com, as that’s my blog title and general philosophy, but of course its currently some ad-only site. I’ve inquired about his price, but I expect to be disappointed, with some squatter sitting on it. We shall see.
